The effect of Persicae Semen on the Hyperlipemia in Rabbits

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to study the effectiveness on the hyperlipemia in rabbits, we made use of Persicae Semen with activating blood flow and removing blood stasis.
The results were as follows:
1. The contents of total cholesterol showed significant decrease of 28.9 percent in comparison with control group.
2. The contents of triglyceride showed significant decrease of 26.5 percent in comparison with control group.
3. The contents of phospholipid showed decrease of 13.1 percent in comparison with control group, but the result didn´t attract attention.
4. The contents of free fatty acid showed significant decrease of 26.9 percent in comparison with control group.
5. The contents of total lipid showed significant decrease of 16.1 percent n comparison with control group.
According to the above experimental results, it could be concluded that Persicae Semen had a good effect on the hyperlipemia. And we can judge that Persicae Semen will be widely used in syndromes of blood stasis.
